 | Rainbow
Parody of Reflections based on the performance by Christina Aguilera This song was written first in 2002 in my third apartment here in Florida. I heard "Reflection" on the radio and happened to be driving behind a car that had a rainbow sticker that said "My Reflection is Beautiful" . . .I thought, well there's a song, when first written I performed this song at a small gathering in my apartment--it was a close friend of mine who was a lesbian and although I wrote the song in a humorous sense, she took it very seriously--it put her in tears because she could relate to what the song says so well. I tried performing this song again in front of her girlfriend who likewise shed tears, so I guess the song is a little deeper than a parody but nonetheless by request has been recorded. | The Meat Song
Parody of I Love You Always Forever based on the performance by Donna Lewis I actually never intended on recording this song, much less for it to be one of my more popular downloads. The Meat Song is a parody of Donna Lewis' hit song "I Love You Always Forever", so many love songs between that one, Love Fool (Jewell) and I'll Make Love to You (Boys II Men) I figured, why not parody one. My friend John, who worked at Checkers at the time, heard me singing it, and enjoyed what he heard enough to make me actually write it down. . .alas, several years later Project 1 seemed a little light, and I decided I'd record it.
